Social currency is essential when career-building... If you cannot socially connect online, employers may see that, and you could be compared... If you look at posts without liking, commenting, or sharing, you miss out on relationship-building and community. Your lack of social connection will likely be NOTICED. You can demonstrate loyalty and authenticity using social channels. This opportunity is available to you ONLY if you take advantage of it! You are human; platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin block BOTS...
🤔
If you are standing against another strong applicant, it is very likely and possible that they may win over you because of their social currency skills.
