Overflow Half Space Rental

Disclaimer: Please note that the front of the shop will remain open for public seating. The rental includes access to the community table in the back of the house, but please keep in mind that customers will still need to use the bathrooms in this area. We kindly ask that your party be mindful of this shared space and the ongoing flow of other guests. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to hosting you!

½ Space Rental Terms:

Base rate $125 an hour (2 hr. minimum). Upcharge on 3+ hours

Includes staffing, set up/tear down, sound system (Bose speaker)

A 50% deposit is due to reserve the spot and 50% will be due 48 hours before the rental.

Bookings must be made no less than 2 weeks before desired date

If booking within a week of the rental, the full amount is due upon reservation

Includes:

Bring whatever marketing materials you want

BYOB

Event exposure/brand & product

Bar will be open for your use (no additional costs), client can run a tab at the bar and pay at the end of their rental or client can pre-order pastries.

In compliance with Overflow Coffee's PPA license issued by the City of Chicago, there are specific types of events that we cannot hold in the space. We will contact you promptly if the nature of your event does not comply with our licensing.

Space Set-Up: Event Rental Agreement

Event rentals are for the cafe set-up as is. For a custom set-up, quotes are dependent upon number of people required to set up your ideal set-up. You are welcome to set up & tear down your own decorations but it is our policy that only our staff can move our furniture.
