How do students enroll in RISE Academy?
Eligible students must choose to attend RISE Academy after completing an orientation meeting (held monthly) and intake interview with one of our RISE Academy Counselors. Eligible students are notified monthly of their eligibility by email via BrightArrow and invited to attend regularly scheduled orientation meetings. Additionally, teachers can refer potentially eligible students via the FreshService Ticket Referral, linked HERE.

What is the intake interview process?
An intake interview is a 30-minute meeting with the student and their family to discuss RISE Academy, its expectations, and available resources. It is an opportunity to determine if the program is a suitable fit.

What happens after the intake interview?
After the interview, if the student/family chooses to join RISE Academy, the student is scheduled for reassignment to a RISE Academy teacher to coincide with our next intake date (set by the RISE Academy Principal).  Until that time, the student must stay in good academic standing with their current teacher; completing assignments, attending instructional meetings, and maintaining good attendance.
