We’re joined by Manpreet Kaur and Arianna Echanique who will help participants understand what AI is, along with its advantages, positives, and potential challenges and to ethically integrate AI & manage the human aspect of AI in business. Participants will also learn effective prompting techniques and exploring tools like Microsoft Co-pilot, ChatGPT, and AI-powered note-taking, with a focus on best practices and strategies. There will be AI tools designed for marketing, customer service support, product, learning and development human resources.

Manny is a non-profit Project Manager, her current role as the Senior Program Associate at CSCNL's TechKNOWtutors program, embodies her passion for empowering Canadians to navigate technology for a brighter future. With a background in project management, communications, and tech projects, Manny has honed skills to orchestrate seamless strategies. She is passionate about streamlining processes and maximizing team potential, thriving on navigating complexities and delivering projects that surpass expectations. Engaged in both team and governance roles, Manny volunteers her time to initiatives promoting community development, technology, and services for newcomers. Manny is fueled by the belief that giving back fosters community growth and empowerment. Committed to enhancing the immigrant experience, she is enthusiastic about facilitating smoother pathways for newcomers in Canada, aiding them in achieving their career and life aspirations.

About Arianna EchaniqueArianna's working with CSCNL’s techKNOWtutors as the Training Coordinator. Before joining CSCNL, she earned her BA in Economics and a minor in Psychology from MUN. Having worked as a research assistant, she’s keen on uncovering the stories data presents and learning how these can inform change and improve lives. Thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, Arianna finds motivation in supporting individuals accessing the information and resources they need to make informed decision-making. As an international graduate, she’s passionate about fostering community through volunteering which is why she enjoys working in the sector.
