The Singapore Tourism Accelerator is a highly-selective, equity-free 4-month programme for the world’s most promising travel and tourism startups and scaleups. Singapore Tourism Board will work with the accelerator's appointed partner Ravel Innovation to select startups to participate in the programme.

Terms and conditions of the Singapore Tourism Accelerator programme

By submitting your application, you agree to the following terms and conditions issued by The Next Web B.V., located at Burgerweeshuispad 101, 1076 ER The Netherlands, Ravel Innovation Pte Ltd, located at 29A Cuppage Road, #02-00, Cuppage Terrace 229456 and Singapore Tourism Board, located at Tourism Court, 1 Orchard Spring Lane, Singapore 247729, hereinafter collectively referred to as “Parties”.

I hereby declare that I have taken up the Singapore Tourism Accelerator programme (“Programme”) on my own accord, and declare that I am legally qualified to enter and stay in Singapore, for the duration of the Programme.
I agree to assume any and all risks which might be associated with the Programme, and I will not hold Singapore Tourism Board, The Next Web B.V. (“The Next Web”) or Ravel Innovation Pte Ltd (“Ravel Innovation”) or any of these organisations’ officers, or any of their full-time or part-time staff responsible or liable in any way for, and that no right of action shall arise from, any loss or damage (including, without limitation, personal injury or property damage) caused by or sustained as a result of my participation in this Programme.
I certify I am unaware of any previous, current or impending lawsuits or any legal/ reputational pursuits against myself, an agent of my company, or my company itself that would impede my participation in this Programme.
I acknowledge that all relocation, travel, living costs and additional pilot costs outside of the grant will be borne by my company.
I acknowledge that the relocation stipend for eligible overseas companies is tied to full physical attendance and participation of a minimum of 2 qualified participants from my team. Ravel Innovation reserves the right to forfeit/pro-rate the stipend amount respectively. Should participants be unable to relocate because of travel restrictions, full digital participation will be mandatory but stipends will not be awarded.
I acknowledge the application process will be administered by The Next Web and Ravel Innovation. The Next Web, Ravel Innovation and the Singapore Tourism Board will implement a fair and rigorous process in assessing the applications to the Singapore Tourism Accelerator against the criteria provided by the Singapore Tourism Accelerator.
Singapore Tourism Board and Ravel Innovation will appoint a Judging Panel to make an assessment of all Application forms received.
The closing date for filling an Application form is 6pm (SGT - Singapore Standard Time) on Sunday 12 December 2021; entries received after this date will not be accepted.
The companies will be shortlisted and those invited to the next stage should make themselves available during the week commencing 3 January 2022 for the digital clarification sessions with the Singapore Tourism Accelerator Industry Partners (i.e. the corporates which have listed challenges to be applied for), as well as the digital interviews with the panel of judges from the Singapore Tourism Accelerator Industry Partners, Singapore Tourism Board and industry experts. Applicants must be available these two sessions via video conferencing, no alternative dates will be offered.
Singapore Tourism Accelerator will provide feedback only for those businesses who make the final stage of judging. Negotiations will not be entered into with companies at any stage of the application process.
The Judging Panel’s decision is final and binding at all stages.
By submitting the Application form you confirm that you consent that the (personal) information provided within the Application form will be made available to the Parties as well as the tourism industry company whose challenge you are applying for ("Industry Partner") with this application process. The Parties will adhere to any data protection laws applicable from time to time, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the Personal Data Protection Act in Singapore.
All (personal) information provided will be treated as confidential and will be used solely for assessing the Application forms, unless otherwise stated and with your consent. The Parties maintain appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent the accidental, unauthorised or unlawful processing, destruction, loss, damage or disclosure of personal information processed by it, in accordance with the requirements of applicable Data Protection Laws. The Parties will not retain your personal data for a period longer than necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected for, unless they have to keep it for legitimate business, tax or legal purposes.
Finalists from the pitching stage will be notified as to whether they will be invited to join the Programme by email during the week commencing 17 January 2022. Successful applicants will be invited to join the Programme which will begin with a digital induction day on 19 January 2022 and officially on 23 February 2022. 100% attendance for the duration of the Programme is mandatory.
The selected companies agree to take part and assist with any reasonable promotional activities or PR supporting the Programme.
