This program aims to support growers in enhancing soil health, improving farm performance, and participating in agricultural carbon sequestration. Program Requirements and Grower Commitments

As a participant in the Legacy Tier, you will be required to adhere to the following requirements and obligations (Please fill out each confirming qualification):

Practice Management Commitment

You commit to these two long-term sustainable farming practices:

You will work with Holganix to reduce overall macronutrient (NPK) application with an emphasis on nitrogen application on corn and you will eliminate any nitrogen stabilizers that kill microbes*

You pledge to minimal or use no-till practices at a depth of no more than 6" (4" recommended) for up to ten years. Conventional tillage (including heavy rotary, deep, subsoil, chisel, moldboard, and ridge tilling) is not permitted.*

Farm and Field Size Commitment

A minimum farm size of 500 farmable acres is required to be eligible for participation*

Holganix will conduct a digital review of your fields to asses best fit*

You pledge to enroll at least 50% of your total farm acreage in the program*

Data and Land Access Commitment

You agree to provide Holganix with and maintain access to farm data required for the Project in accordance with the requirements of the Soil Stewardship Program.*

Holganix Bio 800 Commitment

You commit to purchasing and applying Holganix Bio 800+ twice a year (spring and fall) for a minimum of 3 years for all acres enrolled in the program*

You will receive a price lock on Holganix Bio 800 for the entire commitment period (3 years)*

Carbon Rights

As a participant, you attest that you have the necessary rights to carbon credits on the land you farm and the authorization to maintain the practices for the term of the agreement with Holganix.*

Credit Economics

Purchasing Bio 800

As the grower, you will be responsible for the cost of purchasing Holganix Bio 800 applications each fall and spring for three years. When carbon credits are monetized, you will first receive reimbursement equivalent to the cost of the Bio 800 product.*

Program Fees and Testing

You agree that Holganix will cover all required testing and program fees associated with the carbon sequestration program. Holganix will be reimbursed for all program fees, testing, and related costs prior to other revenue distributions, but only after the grower has been reimbursed for Bio 800 product costs.*

Buffer Pool Contribution

All carbon projects require a buffer pool before sale to account for any carbon lost after the credit has been created. Each Holganix project farm will undergo a risk assessment to determine the required contribution amount to the buffer pool. The buffer pool serves as a safeguard against unforeseen losses in carbon sequestration. Projects deemed higher risk will require higher buffer pool contributions, which will be held for up to ten years to ensure project stability and integrity*

Revenue Distribution

You agree that any remaining credit revenue will be split 60/40 (with the grower retaining the larger share of revenue) at the conclusion of the final sale of any carbon credits. There is no guarantee by either you or Holganix that any credit revenue will be created.*

Please note that Holganix reserves the unilateral right to revoke your application at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to lack of adherence to the terms outlined above.
