The registration is when you officially confirm your participation in iGEM Design League. The registration fee is USD 1500 for a team of up to 15 student members. Each additional student member costs USD 150. Registrations are still not open yet, but you can complete the "Pre-registration form" if you are planning to participate.

By pre-registering, you:

• Have the right to have up to 5 additional members for free in your team. (That means you can have up to 20 student members without the additional fee of USD150 per each).
• Are demonstrating intentions to participate in iGEM Design League 2023 (but NOT compromising on paying anything yet).
• Will be contacted by our team to answer your questions and explain you the next steps for your registration process.

If/once you complete the pre-registration form, you:

• Will receive a confirmation email. We will ask you to schedule a call with us using the links we will send to you in that email.
• The next step will be completing registration by making the fee payment (see the registration phases for more information). Pre-registration benefits are considered for teams that pay during the Early-Bird and Normal Registrations phases.
• We will open a new page to fill in your team's information, like the institution you are representing and the instructors' information. Also, you will receive the information with the payment methods and an official invoice.
