Mi Independent Complaint Handling for RTO's and other Education Providers  

  • The Mediation Institute Independent Complaint Handling Service for Education Providers meets the compliance requirements established for Registered Training Organisations. 
  • Once the program is established, you will be provided with a certificate of membership of the program to include with your compliance documentation.  
  • Triage services by phone or email are available to discuss complaints and dispute-related issues. Services cover any type of dispute or complaint-related issue with students, faculty or suppliers.   
  • Mediation Institute can provide a range of independent services and consulting to support your complaint management system (additional fees apply). 
  • Independent Services include: Mediation, Academic Review, Complaint Investigation, referral to Counselling Service and Staff Training are available (additional fees apply)

A 10% discount applies to renewals reducing the annual subscription to $297

Complaint Handling Policy Desktop Review

Included in the subscription is a desktop review of your organisation's internal complaint handling policy and process. 

The following must be included in your policy: 

  • How a student may lodge a complaint 
  • How a student can appeal a decision
  • How the complaint is managed internally 
  • How the independent escalation process occurs and costs (if any) to the student

Investigation of a complaint - $242  per hour                 
Mediation of complaint  - $242  (typically less than $1,500)
Independent Review of a Complaint or Appeal - $242 per hour 
Consulting and/or training (per hour)  - Free training needs analysis and quote included or project fee by negotiation.
