IDENTIFY THE TYPE OF COPYRIGHT VIOLATION

It is important to precisely indicate the type of copyright infringement you are claiming. Please select the best option below based on the following descriptions:

A) Sound recording infringement: someone uploaded an exact copy of your sound recording (either in full or in part). Pick this option if someone:
  • Uploaded your full track.
  • Uploaded an unlicensed remix.
  • Sampled your music without a license.
  • Important note: do not pick this option if someone is using your sound recording in a manner that exceeds your license. For example, if they are using your beat on YouTube Content ID to claim videos that contain your beat in other people's music. Pick option C in this case.
B) Composition infringement: someone uploaded an unlicensed cover of your music. The underlying composition/melody is yours, but the actual sound recording is different.

C) Abusive usage: someone is using your sound recording and/or composition in a way exceeding the terms of your license, OR exploiting your intellectual property in an abusive way:
  • You sell royalty-free beats and someone uploaded their track with your beat to YouTube Content ID or Tik Tok and they are now claiming videos with other instances of your beat.
  • Your license allows exploitation only in certain territories and the track is available in other territories.
  • Someone has inserted their sound recording in your video to hijack part of your royalties.

D) Trademark violation: someone is using your trademark, logo, or brand identity in violation of copyright law.
Feel free to add any other information that can give us a better understanding of the case.
