2. Where is your organization in its AI journey?
We are identified as a leader in this space. We have in-house expertise, external partnerships, and an underlying strong tech & data infrastructure.
We have a central core team led by the CIO/CAO/CDAO (chief data & analytics officer) to develop and deliver AI solutions.
We are conducting experiments; it's early days.
We are currently building capability through hiring/up-skilling/acquisitions.
We are going with tried and tested solutions through third-party solutions.
We have not and are currently not actively investing in AI capabilities.
3. For your organization, the leadership believes Gen AI could be _______
A productivity supercharger
An interesting experiment
Irrelevant
A competitive advantage
A total game-changer
4. Accessibility, Data Quality and Governance, Trust in Data, and Connected Intelligence are themes in my current Digital Transformation journey
Yes
No
5. Our data maturity in terms of data catalogs and enterprise dashboards is
In its infancy
We have some of it in place, but it's far from perfect
Most of these elements are in place
6. What is your organization’s approach toward the exploration and experimentation of new technologies?
Go with proven enterprise products and implement them at scale (a few markets, then org-wide).
We proactively look for emerging tech that has the potential to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
We regularly collaborate with our external partners to leverage their expertise and learn about the latest tech developments.
Run multiple experiments using credible technologies in pockets and roll out across select markets, and then scale across the enterprise.
Exploration and experimentation are done in pockets by certain teams.
Bureaucracy slows the pace of innovation and adoption; therefore, we don’t actively look for and evaluate new tech.
7. How skilled is your AI/ML and data science team? (AI/ML – Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning)
Strong AI/ML capabilities with regular upskilling, creating multiple solutions, and bringing in innovation.
Medium – Good foundational capabilities, not many innovative solutions.
Low – We don’t use much data science regularly.
Unclear – Small teams that don’t interact much with business functions.
8. How do you look at the AI Revolution?
It's just a fad and will fade away with time.
It will have tremendous benefits to organizations and will only get better with time.
I don’t understand it enough to have an opinion either way.
9. Do you have a lot of digital assets to manage?
I have to manage less than 50 dashboards.
There is a proliferation of dashboards/solutions/tools to the point it feels overwhelming to manage.
We do have a few dashboards but trust in the data shown in them, and follow-up questions are more of a concern.
10. My main concern with adopting AI is
Data privacy and security – I don’t want my data outside my firewall.
Determinism and Hallucinations – How will we ensure the AI answers correctly and appropriately.
Tech Barriers and Costs – How to find the right skill in the organization and in the market, how costly it will be to get started and keep it running.
There are too many use cases and ideas being thrown at me. I am not sure how to prioritize and where to start.
