🎨✨ Calling All Creative Illustrators! ✨🎨

 

Do you dream in colours and sketch the impossible? Open Incubator @TCD invites you on a quest! We are crafting a new project, "Once Upon an Idea" a unique card deck, a story telling game that guides brave souls through the 10 essential steps of entrepreneurship, all within a Dungeons & Dragons-inspired journey. 

If you are chosen as our artistic champion, your mission will be to illustrate 10 enchanting cards that brings this adventure to life. 🌟 And the prize? A treasure of 1,000 gold coins (€1,000, to be precise). 

 

 Your Quest:
Illustrate Chapter 1: The Shadows in the Woods (See card below) a tale of mystery and courage as the journey begins. Submit your creation in PDF or image format (A3 Portrait). It can be a drawing, a painting, an illustration or a digital illustration. Add a short overview describing the proposed illustration for the competition.
Upload a portfolio of 3–5 pieces showcasing your artistic work. ✍️✨

It goes without saying that the use of AI is not allowed 👀

 

Who Can Enter This Competition?
🧑‍🎓 University students accross Ireland & TCD alumni  who are illustrators, painters, sketchers, digital artists, professional or not!

Important Dates to remember:
February 23rd:
Deadline to submit your application

February 27th: The results will be announced

Tuesday, March 4th: Finalists must be available for a Gallery-Opening-Style Evening in Trinity College.

 

What Happens on the Night?
The 5 selected finalists will showcase their illustrations in an open exhibition. Guests and judges will vote for their favourite, and one talented artist will rise as the champion! 🏆💫

 

The Prize:
The winner will illustrate all 10 cards for the deck and claim a 1,000-euro prize.
