JOB TITLE: Service & Repair Advisor

Job Summary: We are looking for a customer-focused, detail-oriented Service and Repair advisor to join our increasingly busy service and repair department, which is rated 4.9* on reviews.io. You will play a key role in ensuring our customers' cars are serviced and repaired correctly while providing excellent customer service. 

Key responsibilities:

As part of our service & repair team, you will be responsible for your share of: 

  • Greeting customers and vehicle check-ins 
  • Answer phone calls & emails 
  • Entering data accurately into our Garage Management System
  • Identify accurately the parts required for a schedule of work
  • Obtain prices from suppliers
  • Quote customers
  • Order parts from suppliers
  • Check-in parts from suppliers 
  • Clear and concise communication with office staff and the workshop team.


Requirements:

  • Minimum grade in English & Maths of GCSE C / Grade 4
  • Competence in accurate and timely data entry
  • Professional verbal communication
  • Professional written communication 
  • Competence in using a computer and associated applications 


Experience, certifications & knowledge:

  • Experience within the motor industry, either at a main dealer or aftermarket garage parts department or service desk 
  • Experience using Garage Management Systems
  • Experience in data entry
  • Experience in using parts lookups
  • Knowledge of motor vehicle servicing and repairing
