First Nations Night Market

We are 33 Creative, conference organisers for the upcoming Dangkal Gwo'yal-wa: First Nations Land and Water Management Forum 2024 to be held on Larrakia Country, at the Darwin Conference Centre, from 27-29 August 2024.

The Forum will bring together First Nations Land and Water Managers from across Australia and the Torres Strait Islands to celebrate and showcase their achievements looking after Country. We are expecting around 600 delegates to attend. 


As part of the Forum, we are organising a First Nations Night Market to take place around the time of the Gala Dinner, being held on Wednesday 28 August.

We believe that you have products that would be of interest to our delegates, and we'd like to invite your business to participate in the First Nations Night Market.



 

Cost of participation: 
Free - cost waived by National Indigenous Australians Agency

 

Provided:

1 x black-clothed trestle table (approx 1800m x 750mm) 
2 x chairs

Access to power on request.

 

Not provided:
You will need to provide your own means of taking payment.

(An ATM will be available for delegates.)

 

Food providers:

We will not be able to sell ready to eat food at the First Nations Night Market, but packaged food can be sold.

 

Timing:

Wednesday 28 August

Set up from 1pm

Market operating times from 5pm to 9pm (Final timing TBC)

 

Location:

Darwin Convention Centre
