Community Organization, College, or Group Tour Request

This request is for community organizations, college/university classes, or larger groups with 10 or more people.  Are you an individual or family looking for a tour?  Sign up for our monthly tour at Brightwater Treatment Plant in Woodinville here. 

If you’d like to request a group tour, please fill out the form below. Programs can be accommodated to fit various schedules and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. We cannot guarantee that we can fulfill all of the requests that we receive.   

Duration:  Treatment plant tours are 2 hours in length - (30-minute seated introduction, 1.5 hour walking tour).

Age requirement:  All participants must be at least 9-years-old. 

Registration:  Pre-registration is required and needs to be at least two weeks prior to tour date. Group size requirement is 10-25 people. 

Dress code:  Tours take place outside and in an industrial setting. All visitors must dress wear closed-toe shoes, long pants and dress prepared for the weather.

Accessibility:  For general tours, participants must be able to walk one mile and ascend/descend multiple staircases. Accessible tours and accommodations are available with advance notice.

Please note:  Tour groups must start and end the tour together. It is not possible to leave early.

The Undersigned on behalf of themselves and their estate, hereby waives any right of recovery and releases King County, their officers, officials, employees and agents, from liability related to the Undersigned, arising from any and all injury to persons and damage to property, and further agrees and undertakes to indemnify, hold harmless and defend the County from and against any and all claims, damages, actions, liability and expenses including attorney’s fees and other professional fees in connection with bodily injury including death, personal injury and/or damage to property arising from or out of the Undersigned’s activities and participation in volunteer services at the above County Event.

The Undersigned further acknowledges and agrees that the County does not assume any responsibility whatsoever for any property of the Undersigned and the Undersigned shall not hold the County liable for any loss or damage to same.
