Nexus Cohort IV Application

Thank you for your interest in the Nexus Fellowship, The Equity Lab's national cohort designed for senior social change leaders looking to create transformative change in their personal leadership and their organization's commitment to equity. For more information about the Fellowship, please visit https://www.theequitylab.org/nexus. The deadline for Cohort IV applications was Monday, April 1, 2024, but, you can join the waitlist! If space becomes available, waitlisted candidates will be invited to participate in the virtual interview process in the order that applications are submitted.

We are looking forward to the opportunity to get to know you. This portion of the application should take between 20 and 30 minutes to complete. Cost Commitment

The Nexus Fellowship is offered through a tiered pricing structure aligned with best practices among equity-focused organizations. We ask that organizations commit to the per-person cost tier that aligns best with their organizational budget and sector.

*Note that travel and accommodations for two week-long in-person sessions is not included in the cost of participation

Short Answer Questions

Please select the format that suits you best to respond to the following short-answer questions. Your response should be limited to 1,200 words or 10 minutes for audio or video formats. (You will be asked to provide a link to your chosen format below.)

  1. How has the current context we’re living in impacted you personally? As a team member at your organization or leading your body of work
  2. How does your identity (racial, class, caste, sex, gender expression, sexual orientation, religion, national origin or ancestry, age, ability or health condition, citizenship status, and any others that feel salient to you) inform your work?
  3. How do you see issues of inequity show up in your work? What is your response in those situations?

  5. How are you complicit in inequitable decision-making at your organization?
