** This is a fixed amount that will be taken for every payroll we run for you, irrelevant of the days worked in the period.

** This is a percentage of your invoice value, so will fluctuate dependent on the days / hours worked in the period. This means the pension taken is flexible and will adjust if you work different hours or have more that one timesheet in the period.

IF Option 3: Maximum Pension Contributions *...

** This will provide you with minimum wage plus holiday pay for the hours worked in the period plus holiday allowance and it will then place the rest to the pension. This is NOT the option for the maximum £60,000 per annum, if you are looking to do the maximum pension for the year without tax implications, then please complete the fixed amount box above, and confirm in the details if you do not wish for contributions to take you over the £60k limit for the year.
Pension Limit

* Please note that in usual circumstances there is a limit of £60,000 that can be paid to a pension per annum. We will continue to take pension payments over and above this amount unless you request that payments are stopped, so please be aware that tax may fall due on any figures over the annual allowance and it is your responsibility to report these via self assessment and pay any taxes which may fall due.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR YOU TO NOTE ON PERSONAL PENSION PAYMENTS:

As you can imagine managing hundreds of different personal pension pots for our contractor's is incredibly time consuming and hence why our margin for weekly payroll is £28.00 and for monthly is £110.00. So to explain this is how we manage the payment process...

We set a task to make payment to your provider once a month (this is usually based on the payment terms that we know of from your agency). Once payment has been sent, you will receive a confirmation email from us to let you know that payment has been sent. You will then need to complete any paperwork for your provider confirming the amount of pension that has been sent so they can allocate funds correctly. At times, we have seen funds returned to us as the provider has been unable to allocate the money, so we do urge you to check with your provider as to what they expect of you.

Please note payments to personal pensions are made across to your provider once a month. If you are on a weekly payroll cycle, payment will be processed once we have made payment for 4 / 5 timesheets.
