Back-to-School Family Fun Fest

WHEN: Saturday, August 9, 2025

WHERE: 12:00 - 4:00pm - Robert Crown Center, Evanston, IL 

WHAT: A free event sponsored by Be Strong Families and the City of Evanston Department of Parks and Recreation celebrating Back to School - Family Fun Fest. Anticipated attendance: 500+. Families will experience support getting their children prepared for school, learn ways to reduce stress and increase family fun time and build the Strengthening Families ™ Protective Factors all while having a ton of fun! 

  • Games, arts and crafts, family-friendly activities
  • Resource fair with Evanston organizations and businesses serving children and families
  • Family portrait opportunity
  • Free refreshments
  • Tribute rom honoring the life and contributions of Marjorie Fujara, MD
