Scope of  Work and Organisational Context

The project scope for this program is to help identify valuable findings and insights for how an organisation can enhance its economic, social or environmental impact in the world - while also growing/addressing profitability.

Specifically, the project will address:

  • Analyse & Present your organisation's purpose and alignment with one of the UN Sustainability Goals
  • Using Secondary research, analyse and provide an overview of your industry currently and the pertinence of sustainable development;
    • How customers' needs and habits are changing
    • New Trends, technologies and innovations
  • Identify and compare how organisations in the same sector (competitors) or comparable sectors (comparables) are responding to these changes
  • Identify potential opportunities or activities that may help our organisations to grow and enhance your positive economic, social or environmental impact.

If you need to adjust this project scope, please include that in the Other details for Project Field.

Secondary research or desk research is a research method that involves using already existing data. Existing data is summarized and collated to increase the overall effectiveness of research. Secondary research includes research material published in research reports and similar documents. These documents can be made available by public libraries, websites, data obtained from already filled in surveys etc. Some government and non-government agencies also store data, that can be used for research purposes and can be retrieved from them.
