Work Experience & Resume

To meet our program requirement, you must have 3 years of work experience outside of your schooling. Please ensure that your resume clearly lists a minimum of 3 years of work experience.

An applicant meets the three year work experience requirement when: they have accumulated three years of full- or part-time work experience that is completed outside of full or part-time studies (high-school or post-secondary). Work experience can be a combination of: full-time paid work, part-time paid work, and/or full-time volunteer work. It does not need to be completed with the same employer or type of role, and the applicant can hold multiple part-time jobs, or a combination of a part-time job and part-time volunteer position in order to qualify. Work experience in B2B tech sales is not necessary. Work experience outside of Canada is valid and welcomed.

Ensure your work experiences clearly list the START and END MONTHS.

Example:
Customer service representative at GreatCompany, November 2022 to March 2024
