Sailing can be a dangerous activity and requires an average level of fitness and health. Illnesses or medical conditions need not necessarily prevent you from taking a full part in our activities, but we must be aware of any relevant condition. Insurance

We STRONGLY advise you take out a policy to cover you for minor accidents or loss of belongings. Please ensure yacht racing is covered. Topsail provide a suitable Yachtsman policy. Policies should be purchased before you book to cover you for cancellations.

Booking Policy

Information given by the Client via this booking form, forms the basis of a contract and the Client will be accepting the booking conditions for themselves and members of their party. The Client who signed the booking form shall be liable for all those to whom the booking form applies. This contract is made between LV Yachting Ltd, registered in England and owned by Lucy Jackson and any person(s) booking with LV Yachting Ltd to take part in any sailing event.

Deposit: 50% of total payment due on booking (unless otherwise agreed)

Balance: Payable 6 weeks before the charter. Late or non-payment may result in place being re-allocated.

Cancellation Terms

By Client

At any point: Deposit retained by LV Yachting Ltd

Cancellation within 6 weeks: The full cost of event will be payable to/retained by LV Yachting Ltd. (Consult your travel insurance to recoup these expenses)

By LV Yachting Limited

In the unlikely event of cancellation by LV Yachting Ltd, the CHARTERER shall be entitled to immediate repayment, without interest, of the full amount of all payments made under this AGREEMENT. We are not liable for any other costs you may have incurred.

Other

Should the event be cancelled or any government or other relevant authority impose a travel ban or other restriction, such that the Yacht or the Charterers be unable to reach the Place of Delivery on or by the Delivery Date the charter shall be rescheduled by agreement. If the parties, acting reasonably, are unable to agree a suitable date for the rescheduled charter the charterer shall be entitled to a refund.

I confirm that I have read and understand these terms and conditions to which this booking is subject and confirm that I consider them to be fair and reasonable, and agree to be bound by them. I have noted the provisions for cancellation set out above.
