New Mexican Residents: 

Open Call for Art Entries

To celebrate our new name --> United Way of North Central New Mexico <-- with the addition of Santa Fe County, we will feature a New Mexican artist drawing/painting/graphic that best represents UWNCNM or our impact in north-central New Mexico.

Entry Deadline Extended: April 28, 2023

Artists can use an already-created piece or create something new. A stipend is awarded to the juried piece. UWNCNM will promote the selected art piece on tee shirts, prints, and at the various events we host.

Artwork Criteria:

We are open to all interpretations of artwork that represent our five-county region (Bernalillo, Sandoval, Santa Fe, Torrance and Valencia) and/or our areas of focus:
  • Family Stability (UWNCNM funds agencies that support families and engages in partnerships that provide community resources)
  • Basic Needs (UWNCNM funds organizations that provide food, shelter, and similar programming as well as provide direct services such as the 211 helpline, Tax Help New Mexico, and the Family Advocacy Center)
  • Educational Attainment (UWNCNM funds nonprofit education programming and collaborates with school systems to increase the New Mexico graduation rate)

Try to create an image that can easily shift between color and monochrome.
