GAME JAM ON CAMPUS

Register now for the 3-day Game Jam in Umeå! 

📆 WHEN? November 1st - 3rd, Friday - Sunday
📍 WHERE? Universum, Umeå University
🚀 A GAME JAM FOR EVERYONE INTERESTED 


Who is this for?
If you like video games, you're welcome! Experience is helpful but not required.  A passion for games is key. Age 16+.

How does it work?
A theme is revealed 24 hours before the event. Teams brainstorm ideas and then create a game.

Do I need experience?
No! Game Jams is about having fun, creating games, and connecting with fellow game enthusiasts. It's a great starting point for beginners.

What skills are needed?
All skills are welcome! Programmers are essential, but designers, artists, and storytellers are also vital.

What to bring
Your laptop/computer
A network cable
A creative mindset! :)

Need a break?
There's a dedicated sleeping space right next to the Game Jam area, so you can rest and recharge before getting back to your game. Don't forget to bring your own pillow, sleeping bag, andsleeping mat for maximum comfort!

Teams at the Game Jam
Come ready to collaborate!  At the Game Jam, you can either:

  • Bring your own team: Arrive with your friends or colleagues and dive right into game creation.
  • Join a team at the event: Don't have a team? No problem! We'll help you connect with other participants and form a team at the jam.

Whether you come with a group or join one at the event, the Game Jam is all about teamwork and making new connections.
