Business Development Coordinator

About the Role

📍In-Office (South Carolina)

ZVerse is looking for a highly motivated and outgoing individual to join the growing team as a business development coordinator. This position will be critical for the growth of our new software Revaly (revaly.com). We are looking for a team player who is ready to take on significant responsibility, including establishing and managing customer relationships, attending events as a representative for the company, and helping determine the strategy & messaging around the product. This individual will join the Operations team, reporting to our Senior Manager of Operations.
 
This individual will need to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and customers to solve problems and enable sales performance for a rapidly expanding team and product offering. They will create compelling content to help customers understand the use cases and value proposition for Revaly and integrate this content into digital marketing programs to drive customer engagement, customer acquisition, and adoption. This individual will also work with the engineering teams to shape the product vision and prioritize features. They will work in a new and rapidly growing business and have a significant impact every day.
 
Specifically, this person will be responsible for creating and managing the sales pipeline and taking ownership in driving sales-related projects and owning goals and reporting. This person will directly interface with executive-level contacts of prospective clients to facilitate all stages of a sale. The best candidate will drive and create proposals, business cases, and responses to customers' requirements and take a consultative approach. They will determine the integration requirements and outline the strategic direction for customer onboarding. This individual will work closely with senior executives on communications planning, programming and content development, proactive and reactive media relations, speaking opportunities and events, and social media and channel activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own overall relationship with assigned clients, which includes managing on-boarding, implementation, training, increasing adoption, ensuring retention, and high levels of customer satisfaction
    • Act as a point of contact in all matters relating to client concerns and needs
    • Maintain client records, keeping track of contract updates and renewals
    • Provide product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests
  • Work with internal teams to develop strategic marketing plans and ensure KPIs are being met
  • Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize for a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, programming collateral, signage, internal communication, newsletters, and marketing materials
  • Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements
  • Establish new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers and planning and organizing sales call schedules
    • Take a lead role in developing proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships
  • Plan and manage meetings, events, conferences, and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating mailing lists
  • Provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload, often requiring short turnaround times
  • Coordinate public relations and outreach initiatives, including press release distribution, awards, company announcements, and speaker proposals
  • Collaborate with team members to execute sales and marketing campaigns, leading brainstorming sessions to execute marketing plans for internal and external projects
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
  • Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and relay objection handling

Basic Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational skills, including multitasking, time management, and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to deliver sales presentations
  • Strong tenacity and ability to build a solid network
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Graphic design knowledge and experience (i.e., Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CRM software (i.e., HubSpot) and email marketing tool
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
  • Experience developing content for email marketing
  • Experience with product development/engineering
  • Awareness of digital and physical advertising
