Part I – Main Cabin

• Empty all freshwater tanks.
• Remove and replace all water heater elements.
• Drain all the strainers - (lake, fresh and A/C). Refill and close the valves.
• Pour Non-Toxic Propylene Glycol antifreeze into all the drains, p-traps and other “water catching” areas to prevent freezing.
• Winterize all water systems.
• Winterize and service UVBB system.
• Service all batteries, clean terminals and apply a light coat of terminal protector. Fill batteries with distilled water where applicable.

Part II -Engines & Generators 

• Add fuel stabilizer to all gas tanks and completely fill the tanks with fuel.
• Drain engine blocks and clean/drain engine strainers.
• Run all engines and circulate antifreeze through the entire engine system.

Annual Preventative Maintenance Services

ANNUAL HVAC SERVICE
3 hrs. + parts per unit

• Inspect electrical terminals and tighten connections.
• Replace air return filters.
• Clean and inspect the evaporator coil.
• Clean and inspect the condenser coil.
• Clean and test the condensation pump.
• Inspect ductwork for air leaks.
• Test the thermostat for proper operation (Replace batteries if equipped).
• Inspect service port schrader valves for leaks (Replace as needed).
• Replace capacitors and contactors.
• Monitor and record indoor split temperature.
• Monitor and record refrigerant pressures, superheat and subcooling.

• Inspect engine and accessories for visible damage.
• Torque rear engine mounts (40 ft lb)
• Remove seawater pump. Disassemble, inspect and replace the impeller.
• Crankcase oil and filter change.
• Inspect fuel lines and connections.
• Replace fuel filters.
• Replace water separating fuel filters.
• Replace I.A.C. filters.
• Replace spark plugs.
• Inspect spark plug wires (Replace as necessary).
• Replace distributor caps and rotors.
• Inspect drive belts and check tension.
• Inspect exhaust system catalyst.

ANNUAL GENERATOR SERVICE
3 hrs. + parts per gen

• Inspect engine, back-end and accessories for visible damage.
• Remove seawater pump. Disassemble, inspect and replace the impeller.
• Crankcase oil and filter change.
• Replace remote oil filter bracket O-ring (Westerbeke).
• Inspect fuel lines and connections.
• Replace fuel filters.
• Replace water separating fuel filters.
• Clean/inspect flame arrester/air filter.
• Replace spark plugs.
• Inspect spark plug wires (Replace as needed).
• Replace distributor caps and rotors.
• Inspect exhaust system catalyst (Replace every 2,000 hrs-Westerbeke).
• Replace the thermostat and coolant pressure cap.
• Open heat exchanger end cap(s), clean out debri and replace gaskets/O-rings.
• Replace zinc anode.
• Inspect drive belts and check tension.

• Remove the drive
• Inspect the transom and drive for damage.
• Engine alignment check.
• Inspect gimbal bearing.
• Inspect exhaust, u-joint and shift cable bellows and clamps.
• Inspect U-joint assembly.
• Inspect drive shaft and coupler.
• Lubricate shift and throttle linkages.
• Lubricate propeller shaft, drive shaft and shift shaft splines.
• Lubricate all drive unit grease fittings.
• Pressure and vacuum test drive for leaks.
• Drain gear housing and refill with appropriate Mercury/Quicksilver gear lube.
• Inspect corrosion control anodes/Mercathode (Replace as needed).
• Re-install the drive.
• Check trim pump oil level.
