We’re growing fast — and with the launch of our national franchise retail system, we’re looking for a Branch Manager to lead our operations at our Surrey, BC location and help us build the future of off-grid living in Canada.


About the Role

As Branch Manager, you will lead a team of experienced, dedicated staff while overseeing all aspects of day-to-day store operations, customer satisfaction, and team development. You’ll play a key role in strategic planning, financial performance, and operational excellence while helping shape our expanding franchise system.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the retail store and distribution center

  • Lead and support team members across departments

  • Ensure merchandising, store layout, and cleanliness meet company standards

  • Manage staff schedules, time tracking, and team productivity

  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and mentorship

  • Drive customer satisfaction by addressing questions and resolving challenges

  • Identify areas for process improvement and operational efficiency

  • Collaborate with head office to support the franchise expansion


What We’re Looking For

Prerequisites:

  • University degree or equivalent experience in a related industry

  • 3–5 years of retail management experience

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop teams

  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities

  • Must live in the Greater Vancouver area or be willing to relocate within a few weeks of acceptance

Preferred Skills & Traits:

  • Hands-on, proactive problem-solver

  • Adaptable and thrives in fast-paced environments

  • Motivated, detail-oriented, and goal-driven

  • Experience with Shopify, HubSpot, and SysPro (or similar eCommerce/CRM/ERP platforms)

  • An interest in outdoor living or off-grid products is a strong asset
