Laptop Request Intake Form

At the Center for Digital Equity (CDE), we drive a robust ecosystem that fosters digital inclusion across the Carolina region. As a convener and connector, we bring together a diverse network of partners comprising residents, companies, and communities, each with individual digital equity goals, and take that diverse voice to form a collective vision.

Access to devices is a key part of digital inclusion, which is why we strive to support local organizations in their digital skilling efforts. To receive no-cost laptops, we invite you to join our ecosystem of partners. Learn more about what it means to partner with the CDE here.

The first step is completing the form below. Please be detailed in your explanation of who the laptops will benefit and the type of digital skilling and learning you will facilitate.

Please note the following:

Scheduling an introductory meeting is the next step in the process to identify mutual fit (look for a confirmation email with a link to schedule after submitting this form)
Minimum notice of 30 business days for requests
Organizations must work in and serve Mecklenburg County
Providing data to the CDE on the recipient of each laptop is required
Computer labs are not supported
Laptops are sourced from E2D (Eliminate the Digital Divide), a local non-profit and leader of device refurbishment
