ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Nominees must:

be an early-stage company (established for less than 10 years) working in the Queensland life sciences sector
have an operation or Head Office in Queensland
have an established corporate structure (spinout, startup or similar)
not have current management or directors who have served on the LSQ Board Directors in the past three years
be a member of Life Sciences Queensland or be willing to join LSQ at the time of application.

AWARD JUDGING CRITERIA

Please ensure your submission provides evidence to support that your company (or your nominee) meets the eligibility criteria and:

represents novel research, innovation or digital applications that meet a large market opportunity
has a clearly articulated mission that serves the life sciences sector and will contribute to the sector’s growth and success.

If applicable, please provide evidence demonstrating that your company is regionally based, First Nations-led, female-led, or meets other diversity criteria.

Nominees should provide background to the company including intellectual property, proof of concept, and secured seed funding.
