The Al Qasimi Foundation's Doctoral Research Grants encourage scholars from a wide range of disciplines and professional fields to undertake research toward informing policymaking in the United Arab Emirates. The Grants are open to PhD students from all nationalities studying at an accredited university in the United Arab Emirates or abroad.

Submission of Application Materials

All applications are considered incomplete unless the required documents listed below are emailed to grants@alqasimifoundation.rak.ae by the extended April 1, 2019 deadline:

• Two-page essay in the form of a cover letter
• CV or resume
• Official academic transcripts (current program and all completed degrees)
• Research proposal (including literature review, methodology, budget, timeline)
• Official TOEFL or IELTS score report (as applicable)
• Confirmation of Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval
• Recommendation letter #1
• Recommendation letter #2
