IRCC requirements

All applicants have completed sufficient English Language Testing within the last two years (you must meet the minimum level of Canadian Language Benchmark 5 in either English or French)

The Primary Applicant has control of the IP/Assets

The Primary Applicant has 10% or more of the controlling/voting shares? Non-applicants/groups must not own more than 50% of the controlling/voting shares

The Primary Applicant has sufficient settlement funds as per CIC guidelines. (ie. bank statement, investment statement)

The Applicants business is incorporated in Canada, or there is proof to incorporate in Canada

Accelerator Centre Startup Visa Requirements

The designated entity must meet all of these requirements in order to be considered for the Accelerator Centre's Start Up Visa Program*

The designated entity has over $100,000 CAD in combined revenue over the past two years

The designated entity provides innovative technology (IP or strong proprietary technology/business model)

The designated entity has a desire to grow their business within the Canadian market

The designated entity understands they must participate in the Accelerator Centre's programming at a cost of $3,000 CAD monthly plus office space over a 12 month minimum commitment
