Parent Leader Award Nomination Form

The Parent Leader Award celebrates a parent or guardian who has shown extraordinary leadership in supporting their children’s education, advocating for their community, and contributing to initiatives that create a better environment for children and families. This award highlights the importance of parent leadership and their role in shaping the future generation.


Criteria for Nomination:

  • Must be a parent or guardian who has been actively engaged in supporting their child’s educational journey or community initiatives.
  • Demonstrated leadership in parent advocacy, volunteerism, or community-based programs.
  • Commitment to building stronger families, schools, and communities through mentorship, involvement, and support.

How to Nominate a Parent Leader:

  1. Fill out the nomination form below, explaining how the parent has positively impacted their child’s education or community.
  2. Provide examples of leadership, volunteer work, or community engagement that showcases their dedication to uplifting others.
  3. Nominations must be submitted by October 19th, 2024.

Voting Process:

After the nominations are received, the public will be invited to vote for the most deserving Parent Leader. Encourage your network to vote and show their support. The parent with the most votes, combined with a review by our panel, will receive the award at the gala.

To nominate a parent or guardian for the Parent Leader Award, please provide a written statement (300-500 words) that describes how this parent has shown extraordinary leadership in supporting their child’s education and advocating for their community. The statement should include the following details:

Leadership in Education: Explain how the parent has played an active role in supporting their child’s academic journey or contributed to educational initiatives. This may include volunteering at school events, engaging with teachers and administrators, or advocating for resources that benefit students.

Community Engagement: Provide examples of how the parent has contributed to community programs, volunteer efforts, or initiatives that support children and families. Highlight their role in organizing events, participating in community service, or mentoring other parents and families.

Commitment to Positive Change: Discuss the parent’s dedication to creating a better environment for children, whether through advocacy, mentorship, or support for social causes. How have they worked to empower other families or address challenges within their community?

Impact: Share specific examples of how the parent’s leadership has made a meaningful difference in the lives of their child, other students, or the broader community.

Your nomination should clearly outline the parent’s leadership, impact, and ongoing commitment to making a positive difference.

Submission Deadline:
Submit your nomination by October 19th. Finalists will be open for public voting.
