Who moves furniture:*

This unit is scheduled for new flooring on the above date, please read the checklist below to make sure the unit and resident are ready for install before our crew arrives. 
**SOMEONE MUST BE PRESENT DURING THE INSTALLATION**

Important notes for all installations, whether Tenant, Property, or Southeast Floors is moving:
  • Valuables such as jewelry or cash MUST be placed in a secure and locked location. 
  • Clothing must be fully covered or removed from closets within the installation area. 
  • Electronic Equipment including but not limited to computers, stereos, and other valuables must be dismantled and moved prior to installation. 
  • Pets must be out of harm's way and secured away from the installation areas. 
  • Specialty Items including but not limited to grandfather clocks, pianos, organs, pool tables, etc. are always the responsibility of the resident to move. 

If Tenant/Property is Moving Furniture
Remove all items from the installation areas:
All items include, but are not limited to:

Clear all floors, including closets and pantries
Beds/Couches/Chairs
Tables/Dressers/Nightstands
Walls/Bookshelves
Empty items in Refrigerator/Stove/Dishwasher

If Southeast Floors is Moving Furniture
Remove all personal items from installation areas:

Personal items include, but are not limited to:
All breakables and fragile items
Decorative items/Photos/Lamps
Books/CDs/DVDs/Electronics
Antiques/Dishware/Glassware
Empty items in Refrigerator/Stove/Dishwasher

Items can be moved to areas throughout the home where flooring is not being installed. DO NOT stack belongings on beds or other furniture located in replacement areas. All items must be removed from the installation area prior to installation crew's arrival.

Southeast Floor is not responsible for lost or damaged items or furniture. If disassembly is required prior to movement of furniture, this shall be completed prior to the arrival of the installation crew. 

If the home is not prepared for installation prior to our arrival, we will reschedule the installation to a future date.
