The request to refund/re-credit my current enrolment applies to the following Course/s:
Students wishing to Seek a re-credit of the VETSL debt or refund of fees paid in advance for the current unit of study are required to explain in their own words how they meet the Special or Compelling circumstances.
Documentation and supporting evidence is required as per the Deferment, Suspension, Withdrawal, cancellation of enrolment and leave of absence policy to support your request.
Please note the following key points:
1. Students are responsible for the current unit of study in which they were enrolled in at the time of withdrawal unless special or compelling circumstances exist.
2. The approval of a re-credit/refund is at the discretion of the CEO appointed responsible delegate, and based on the circumstances and evidence provided.
3. Appeal of the decision can be made by following the Envirotech grievance procedure through an external party. This will be at the own cost of the student.
4. The details of your request must comprise the following information:
a. The level of impact of the special circumstances.
b. What the special circumstances were.
c. When they occurred.
d. How long they lasted.
e. For applications relating to a remission/refund of VETSL debt (VSL students), that the circumstances made their full impact on the student on, or after, the census date
Student Declaration:
I am aware that:
1. I will need to submit a new enrolment application to study at Envirotech for the above course if I wish to resume studies at a later date.
2. My VET Student Loan debt, and/or any upfront fees paid MAY NOT be re-credited/refunded if the delegated responsible officer deems my application insufficient.
3. I have attached true and accurate certified copies of additional supporting evidence.
