Photographer retains the rights to their photograph for future use. Navy League of the United States asks that the person or entity entering the contest is the photographer and copyright owner of the work described as Photograph. That said the photographer consents and authorizes the Navy League of the United States to reproduce the work, and that the photographer will indemnify, defend and hold Navy League of the United States harmless from any suit, claim or demand arising from the reproduction of the work in the calendar. Navy League of the United may also use the photograph in other related marketing tools, Navy League of the United States will not sell the photo or the product directly made from the photo. Prizes will be awarded to the copyright owner. There is no charge for the calendar as they are given away to the Navy League of the United States members, charitable donors, and contacts.
