Melbourne Royal will assess and review the provided product/service list in detail as part of the selection process. Applications submitted without a product list will not be considered

- Pricing including discounts or bundles for the Show
- Images of each product

*Note: Food/beverage products must be packaged to sell to ‘take home’ rather than available ‘ready to eat’. Sampling is permitted, approval required.

Product Safety Acknowledgement*

In line with Australian Consumer Law, Melbourne Royal has a zero tolerance policy for banned and unsafe products. Exhibitors selling consumer goods must familiarise themselves with mandatory standards and banned products, such as standards on button batteries and bans on children’s toys, as defined by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). Will you be sampling and selling Food or Beverage products?*
If yes, you will need to apply for a FoodTrader to obtain a Statement of Trade Registration Certificate specific to the event. 

If you wish to sell Alcoholic Beverage products you are required to apply and obtain a Major Event Temporary Limited License specific to the event, see HERE for further information. 

All Food & Beverage products for sale must be sold as packaged products for patrons to purchase and take home only (limits apply), sample tastings are permitted (pending successful licenses / certifications). Sales of in person consumption of ready to eat food or beverage products at the event are not permitted when trading as a Commercial Exhibitor.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a $550.00 incl. GST fee to include up to two Showbag offerings at your stand. If you would like to include any additional Showbags a fee of $150 will apply per additional bag. This fee includes the use of the word Showbag to promote your offer, a listing on our Melbourne Royal Show website, and a printed listing in our official Show Guide and is required to be included in the official Showbag Testing process.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF APPLICATION

  • Submission of your Expression of Interest form does not guarantee that a site will be offered.
  • Melbourne Royal® reserves the right to allocate site locations and sizes and alter at any stage.
  • This document does not constitute an offer and is issued only to accept Expressions of Interest. 
  • Melbourne Royal reserves the right to decline an Expression of Interest at its entire discretion. No correspondence will be entered into with respect to a declined application.
  • Melbourne Royal does not offer exclusivity to any exhibitor, however, reserves the right to cap the number of products within some categories at its discretion.
  • If there are any changes to products / service offerings at any stage, approval is required by Melbourne Royal. Melbourne Royal reserves the right to decline additional product/ services to mitigate oversaturation around the grounds of the event.
  • An official notification of offer from Melbourne Royal will be issued to successful applicants.
  • Sites are only formalised once both a contract & schedule have been signed and returned to Melbourne Royal® and all deposits and monies due are paid in full.
  • Deposits are due within 7 days from date of receipt of contract and invoice.
  • Failure to comply with payment schedule will result in forfeit of allocated stand.
  • Please note a current Working with Children's Check may be required to proceed with your booking, if approved.
  • The information you have provided to Melbourne Royal will be used to process your application to Exhibit at the 2024 Melbourne Royal Show.
  • Your information may also be disclosed to any entity that may subsequently administer the Show or if required or authorised by law.
