The California Coalition for Financial Empowerment is a new community-led regional initiative that will bring together government agencies, financial institutions, nonprofit organizations, and community leaders. The mission is to build a coalition that develops and implements collective solutions to consumer financial protection/inclusion challenges.

The coalition aims to foster economic mobility and expand generational wealth-building opportunities for underserved populations, creating a financially empowered California where everyone can thrive.

In December, we launched our first regional chapter in the Southern Central Valley, serving Madera, Fresno, Kern, Kings, and Tulare Counties. This chapter provides a platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and capacity building to engage unbanked and underbanked communities across the region.
