To qualify for acceptance into the Platform Incubator, your company must be tech-based or tech-enabled. Does your startup meet this criteria?*

A tech company is a business that primarily provides technology products or services. Examples of tech companies include companies that make software, hardware, or internet services.

A tech-enabled company uses existing technology to support and enhance the efficiency or performance of its core offerings but is not primarily focused on providing technology products or services.

The Platform Incubator requires at least one founder to lead all engagements and activities in the Platform Incubator. Having one point of contact working with the Entrepreneur-in-Residence and Platform Advisor supports continued accountability and clear communication.

Support staff can not lead participation in the Platform Incubator. The individual must be a majority (co)founder who has significant influence on decision making.

The application deadline is February 23rd, 2025 and we will notify participants by February 28th.

Once the selection committee has reviewed the applications, Platform will coordinate a 30-minute candidate interview with top candidates with the Program Manager and a Platform Calgary advisor between March 3rd and 13th, 2025.
