SDGsEYEs User uptake webinar: Extreme Temperatures risk: Advancing on SDGs indicators monitoring, reporting and accounting
Are you interested in understanding a risk assessment process focused on the heat-health nexus in the urban context, which combines hazard with demographic, socio-economic, health and built environment factors? The SDGsEYEs project is excited to invite you to our third user uptake webinar, titled “Extreme Temperatures risk: Advancing on SDGs indicators monitoring, reporting and accounting”. This event will take place online on April 15th, from 14:00 to 16:00 CET.
This user uptake webinar is part of a series of interactive events organised by EARSC to engage user communities and facilitate the integration of SDGs-EYEs pilot solutions into practical, real-world applications. The session will focus on the pilot extreme temperatures risk exploring its potential to support SDG 13 (Climate Action).
This webinar will provide an in-depth exploration of the innovative Copernicus-based tool delivering advanced mapping of SDG indicators of climate hazards and related health risks, complementing the mean near-surface temperature indicator with a new set of more representative indicators. The tool is designed to enhance stakeholders' understanding of a risk assessment process focused on the heat-health nexus in the urban context.
