With this ticket purchase, I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in this event. These injuries or outcomes may arise from my own or other’s actions, inactions, or negligence, or the condition of the event location or facilities. I acknowledge that participation in this event, involving prepared foods, cooked, perishable, or otherwise, which are transported and consumed, carries certain inherent risks that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid injuries. The specific risks vary, and can include, but are not limited to, cooking food thoroughly; separating and not cross contaminating foods; chilling or refrigerating foods appropriately; cleaning foodstuffs, instruments, and hands used in and for food preparation; or fire or gas hazards. Nonetheless, I assume all risks and responsibilities of my participation in this event, whether known or unknown to me, including any activities or occurrences incidental to this event. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Organic Growers School; its affiliates, direct or indirect; officers; employees; and agents from any and all claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages, and liabilities resulting from my participation and involvement in this event.
