Apply to Participate: Blue Innovation 2022

The need to preserve our oceans and coasts has never been more important.  Join us for this 3-day event where industry leaders and ocean conservationists will inspire us with innovations to address ocean rise and water concerns.  This event is hosted by Sister Cities Santa Cruz and Biarritz, Santa Cruz Works, UC Santa Cruz, and the City of Santa Cruz.  

The benefits of exhibiting at Blue Innovation include: 1) demonstrating your commitment to solving global warming issues, 2) new revenue opportunities, 3) new market opportunities, and 4) new alliances.

Opportunities
  • PRIME SPONSOR: The event shall be branded with your company/organization.  Example: ABC Company Blue Innovation 2022. Only 1 spot available.  You will have 2 exhibit spaces each 9' x 18' in the 1st row.  You will be listed in all promotions. You may elect to host a workshop.  Two (2) seats at the VIP Dinner.

  • CO-SPONSOR: Your company/organization will be listed as a co-sponsor below the Primary Sponsor.  Only 4 co-sponsors accepted.  You will have 1 exhibit space 9' x 18' in the first row.  You will be listed in all promotions.  You may elect to host a workshop.  Two (2) seats at the VIP Dinner.

  • PRIME EXHIBITOR: Your company/organization will be listed as a top exhibitor in all promotions.  Only 12 accepted.  You will have 1 exhibit space 9' x 18' in the first row.  
    • $500
  • EXHIBITOR: Your company/organization will be listed as an exhibitor in all promotions.  Only 22 accepted.  You will have 1 exhibit space 9' x 18' in the 2-6 rows.

Sunday, September 11: 10am - 2pm PT
  • Blue Day Exhibition: 35 companies and researchers will exhibit solutions to address ocean stewardship.  This event is from 10am-2pm (Setup at 8:30-9:30am) and includes renowned speakers (TBA), food trucks, and bands.  Venue: Seymour Center.  Attendee admission is free. Estimated 3,000 attendees. Exhibitor spots are located OUTDOORS in the parking lot next to the Seymour Marine Discovery building. Please bring sun protection and weights for pop-up tent. 

Monday, September 12: 8:30am - 5:30pm PT
  • SOLD OUT: A series of workshops for researchers and companies, invitation only.  

Tuesday, September 13: 9:00 12:00pm PT
  • INVITATION ONLY: Coastal adaptation site visits in Santa Cruz, led by Tiffany Wise-West. Connecting companies from France and the US to explore synergies, partnerships, and career development.  

Please complete this form if you are a company, researcher, artist, surfboard shaper, or speaker interested in participating. Exhibitors will be required to provide their own tables, signage, tent, etc. Make sure that you/your team have registered on Eventbrite as well. Thank you. Exhibitor Space: Each exhibitor space is 9' width x 18' length. Spaces by electrical outlets are limited and are approximately  8x10'.  Wifi is available but exhibitors will need to provide their own table, tents, and use their own cellular service if data needed.  Event management will provide onsite parking for 1 vehicle per exhibitor.  Special accommodations may be requested.
