SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM CRITERIA

To be eligible for consideration for the Soil Health Academy scholarship program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Attendance Eligibility: Applicants must express interest in attending one of our 3-day, in-person Soil Health Academy schools and has attended one in the past.
  • Registration Requirement: Scholarships are exclusively granted to individuals who have already registered for an upcoming Soil Health Academy and have paid their down deposit.
  • Review of SHA Schools: Prior to completing the scholarship form, applicants are encouraged to review the details of each SHA school to ensure alignment with their needs. Visit soilhealthacademy.org/upcomingschools for more information.


Special Consideration will be given to:

• Next-generation family farmers and ranchers who have parents who are involved in agriculture
• Students, interns, and beginning farmers who are keenly interested in a career in regenerative agriculture
• Veterans or active member of the U.S. military 
• Educators with a desire to provide regenerative agricultural instruction to the next generation
• Minority, tribal, women, and historically underserved individuals
PLEASE NOTE: Scholarships are granted to individuals who have already registered for an upcoming Soil Health Academy and have paid their down deposit. Each scholarship recipient will be notified once the reviewing committee has thoroughly reviewed their application.
