Our paid internships are for current undergraduate and graduate students and those who have already earned a degree who are passionate about marine science and the ocean and want to share their passion with others. Interns receive hands-on experience in youth STEM education, educator professional development, citizen science, community outreach, research vessel operations, digital media & marketing, science communications, photography, filmmaking and/or nonprofit and business administration. ANGARI interns work closely with our employees to gain hands-on experience and become an integral part of the ANGARI team during their internships.Our interns are expected to commit to a 3- or 4-month internship depending on time of year and work on site ~20 hours per week, plus occasional evenings or weekends. Interns receive a monthly stipend of $1,000. Accommodations are not provided except for when traveling aboard our research vessel.
