The/Nudge Prize is an innovation and scalability grand challenge to catalyse population-scale solutions that unlock livelihood opportunities for the bottom 30% and foster the participation of markets. The/Nudge Prize calls for India's brightest minds to drive breakthrough solutions for some of the toughest developmental issues of our time. We empower innovators through grand challenges, fueling their dreams to catalyse tech-first and scalable solutions that create a transformational impact signalling a market multiplier in 2-3 years, enabling more capital infusion and a visibly more vibrant ecosystem than before.

Opportunity : 209.34 million Indian women don’t step out of their homes even once a day. 160 million women in India work as homemakers. At least a third of these women have expressed an interest in employment. However, they have numerous constraints such as time poverty, mobility and social restrictions that hold their aspirations back.

The bold mission of the ₹6.5 crore Digital Naukri Challenge is to disrupt & accelerate new age digital work technologies that break cycles of the traditional 8 hour employment structure by pioneering game changing work delivery models and job platforms. These platforms or job tech models of the future will employ/ engage women outside the labour force and deliver consistent elevated incomes through time- and location-flexible technology and business service work.
