Use this form to request to port one or more existing number(s) to ExpertConnect. Porting a number requires moving it from its existing phone carrier to ExpertConnect. Once a number is ported, all inbound and outbound communication (calls & texts) will route through ExpertConnect. The number will no longer be tied to a specific device. ExpertConnect's ring schedule feature will determine which team advisors the call rings through the app. The porting process usually takes 2-4 weeks depending on how long it takes to receive approval from your current provider.
Once your port request is approved, there will be a scheduled date for the official porting. The number will stay active with your current provider until the scheduled date. There may be a 1-2 hour outage while the number is ported to ExpertConnect. Once the port is complete, the number will appear in your ExpertConnect account and calls will be routed through ExpertConnect. SMS functionality may be delayed an additional day due to regulatory compliance forms needing to be approved.
