3 Up to 5 samples are usually measured free of charge an initial feasibility test. If no sample preparation is required, a tablespoonful of solid or ca. 2ml of liquid per sample is required. Please send liquids in clear glass containers for measurements through glass. Microscope measurements require less sample material.

Sample shipping instructions

Only ship the samples after confirming with a Timegate Instruments representative. Please follow the instructions below when sending your samples to Timegate Instruments Oy.

Make sure you have enough sample material for the tests. If you are concerned that your samples are too small then please contact us for advice.
Pack your samples into containers that can withstand the shipping.
Mark your samples clearly, prefer printed sample markings over handwritten ones. Mark each sample with a unique identifier (e.g. SAMPLE-001).
Print the order confirmation email and send it to us together with your samples.
If you have the safety data sheet for the substance, please include it in the shipment.
Follow the rules and regulations for shipping of dangerous goods. Please contact us if you have any questions.
Use customs and carriage value of 1 USD. If you send samples from outside of the EU area, we need to declare customs. To prevent shipping clearance delays, please use 1 USD value and mark the goods as samples that are destroyed in analysis.

Confidentiality
Information included in, pertaining to and/or resulting from the samples and information included herein shall be regarded by Timegate Instruments Oy as strictly confidential and shall not be used by, disseminated to, or disclosed to any individual, corporation, or organization other than that explicitly stated by and consented to by the client contact and/or company identified above. The samples and information resulting from the samples and the services provided by Timegate Instruments Oy with respect to the samples will be held by Timegate Instruments Oy in strict confidence and will only be used by Timegate Instruments Oy for the provisions of the services hereunder and not for any other purpose not requested by the client. These confidentiality obligations survive the termination of the services for a period of 5 years. Client must provide names and email addresses of additional persons authorized to receive report(s).
