Community & Committee Co-Chairs Needed

Serving as a co-chair of one of the BLC Communities is an excellent opportunity for library colleagues across BLC’s member institutions to serve in a leadership role and gain valuable community-building experience. BLC recommends that each Community have two co-chairs serving staggered two-year terms.

The following BLC Communities are in need of a new co-chair for FY25:
  • Alma/Primo COP 
  • Archives & Special Collections
  • Heads of Resource Sharing Standing Committee
  • Media COI
  • Resource Sharing COI
  • Technology COI
  • Web Archiving COI

Terms begin in Summer 2024. To learn more about co-chair expectations and support, please review our Recommended Practices for BLC Communities. 

If you are interested in serving as co-chair for any of the above communities, please select the community from the list below and provide a brief description of why you'd like to serve as co-chair. A member of Team BLC will reach out to you.
