Before you begin

  • You will be asked to submit evidence. Please ensure to read below to ensure that you have all the required documentation. The full list of evidence is:
    • An Assessor qualification OR
    • An End Point Assessor qualification
    • Standard specific competency certificates
    • An IQA qualification (if qualified and you wish to be considered for IQA opportunities or if this is a specific Assessor requirement of the standard you are applying for)
    • Your CV
    • Your up-to-date CPD log
    • Your most recent DBS certificate
    • Your L2 maths and English evidence
    • Your professional indemnity certificate (If you have this at present). If not, we can provide you with additional information about obtaining cover.
  • If you need to upload multiple documents for a response, you may either upload a ZIP file or select multiple documents using Ctrl-click/Shift-click.
  • Please note that JPEG files are not supported.
  • To speed up the application process:
    • You should familiarise yourself with the assessment plans of the standards that you are interested in
    • You should only apply for standards that you are confident of meeting the criteria for
  • If successful, the next stage will be to invite you to a remote interview where you select a convenient timeslot

We require all EPA Assessors to have professional indemnity insurance cover. The cover limit should be appropriate and proportional to the nature of the services being provided.

Planning/Logistics

Please confirm if you are willing to travel for face to face assessment.*
Most of our standards can be delivered remotely but for some, or at the request of a customer, face to face assessment is required.
