Cannabis Marketing Association is looking for speakers for the third annual Cannabis Marketing Summit June 7 - 9. This is the first year the event will be hosted in-person in Denver, Colorado.

The opportunity to speak at the Cannabis Marketing Summit is a benefit exclusive to active CMA Members. Business Member applications will be reviewed first. Join here.

The Cannabis Marketing Summit is the premier event for senior-level marketers responsible for the marketing budgets of licensed brands in the cannabis industry.

The goal of the Summit is to evaluate the current state of cannabis marketing and review the practical tools, tactics, and data that produce effective strategies and campaigns for cannabis brands across the country.

We will be selecting member-submitted panels, member-submitted workshops, and member-submitted solo sessions  to supplement the keynote speaker, networking opportunities, extracurricular activities, and VIP events.

Submission Requirements:

  • Panels must consist of 3 to 4 panelists and one moderator.
  • Primary applicant must be a CMA Member — bonus points if multiple panelists in your submission are already CMA Members.
  • Panel submissions must be balanced in terms of gender and racial representation. CMA reserves the right to decline a submission or ask that you modify your application based on this requirement alone.
  • Workshops should consist of no more than two instructors.
  • Workshops must be strictly educational in nature and in no way directly pitch your product or services.

Panel, workshop and solo sessions will each be an hour-long, with approximately 45 minutes to speak and 10 to 15 minutes to do Q&A and engage with the live audience.

Winning presentations will be selected based on their originality, relevance to the event description, and importance to the industry at large. We encourage you to be creative and thoughtful!

Application closes March 6, 2022 at 11:59pm MT.

Your session abstract will tell attendees why they should attend your session. To be effective and create interest, it should provide a brief, clear, and concise reflection of your presentation’s content. The abstract should only be one paragraph of between 150 to 250 words in length.
Outline Your Key Elements: List 4 to 5 bulleted primary or key elements of your topic that you will be discussing.

Thank you for your application! Speakers will be selected and notified the week of March 28. If you have any questions about the event or your application, please email info@marketingcannabis.org.
