Application For AHAF Scholarship

The Armida Huerta Adventure Fund offers bikepacking and/or packrafting course scholarships for LGBTQ+ folks. Armida's Fund is for people who do not have the means to pay for these types of courses or the gear and travel necessary for these courses. The post-course, refundable $100 deposit prevents last minute cancellations. 🌈🏳️‍🌈🦄

Extremely Fit: I ride/run 100s of miles per week, paddle 25 & take the staircase two steps at a time.

More Fit Than Average: I exercise regularly and can easily bike 50 miles per day, paddle 15 or hike 15.

Average: I exercise regularly and 50 miles of riding or 15 miles of paddling would kick my ass, but I'd love every minute of it!

Infrequently: I try to get exercise a few times per week, but life gets so busy it's hard sometimes. But I'm stoked to try as hard as I can!

Other: I'm really inexperienced and I don't know what level I am.

How comfortable are you in moving water, like rivers?

Uncomfortable. I cannot swim.

Somewhat comfortable. I can swim, but moving water and rivers intimidate me
