Terraformation, the local Indigenous Higaonon community, and CCCO2 are collaborating to restore 1,000 hectares of native, biodiverse forest in the province of Bukidnon on the island of Mindanao. This project offers numerous economic and social benefits, creating agroforestry programs, promoting equal employment opportunities, and increasing the visibility of women in leadership positions. A successful start could spur an expansion of up to 12,000 hectares, involving multiple Indigenous communities in northern Bukidnon. Contact the Terraformation Climate Impact team to discuss how to purchase high-quality carbon removal credits from this project or support the project with other investments.
