Moxa troubleshooting

Inspect and describe the LED behavior and status of the unit

Check if eConf is accessible locally by:
1. Connect your laptop to the last LAN port of your Elum device.
2. Open your favorite web browser and enter 192.168.4.127 in the URL bar.
(To access the Elum Configuration local web page, the Ethernet port of your computer should be configured in DHCP mode)
Is the issue related to a communication port ?

Serial port testing

Does the baud rate configured in the serial port match with the baud rate configured in the integrated device ?
Does the slave ID configured in the serial port match with the slave ID configured in the integrated device ?
Does the parity configured in the serial port match with the parity configured in the integrated device ?
Was the wiring verified?
Was the communication tested with a spare cable?

Does the IP address configured in the LAN port match with the IP address configured in the integrated device and belong to the network range ?

In case you are doubting that the serial port is faulty, make sure to wire on it a device that was already able to communicate in one of the operational serial ports.
